During the recent refurbishment works for The Twelve Taps, builders discovered a wooden box beneath the floor containing items that someone had concealed and then forgotten.
The items revealed glimpses into the strange lives of two previous residents and new owners, Becca and Libby are hoping that this display of found ephemera, shared with artist Julia Spicer, will jog someone’s memory and further light may be shed on the mystery of who once lived there. Regular customers may be interested to learn that one of the items in their find inspired the name for the new business, which up to that point had eluded them.

The display will be launched on the afternoon of Saturday 4 June, 16:00 – 18:00.
